Payment Policy
I understand that payment is due at the time of service. Sun Acupuncture Inc. accepts cash, checks, credit card and Health Savings Account (HSA) cards.

Health Insurance Policy
I understand that Sun Acupuncture Inc. will work with my health insurance company on my behalf to obtain payment for treatments. I agree to pay all charges incurred for services rendered, over and above insurance coverage, and am liable for the out of pocket price if insurance does not cover services.

Cancellation Policy
As a courtesy to all of our patients, we strive to maintain a smooth and efficient operation so that you can enjoy your treatment on time, all of the time. Since our services are by appointment only, please make yourself familiar with my cancellation policy.

24-hour notice is required for cancelling or rescheduling an appointment to avoid charges.
A no call/no show will result in a charge for full price of the treatment missed.
Emergencies and certain exceptions can be made on a case-by-case basis, but must be done by phone before the appointment.
A no call/no show charge must be paid before another appointment will be scheduled or administered.

Sarah is a certified Shiatsu therapist. She is a graduate of Centerpoint School of Massage and Shiatsu. Sarah has a strong passion and commitment for health and wellness. Mindfully sharing her knowledge and experience with clients.
Through this mindfulness each client receives specific and focused treatments designed toward their health goals. With background and experience in both Shiatsu and Ayurvedic therapies, along with her knowledge of aromatherapy, cupping, guasha, reflexology and traditional Swedish massage, Sarah can help clients choose and benefit from a variety of therapies.

Better Sleep!

Let’s face it, sleep is what most of us enjoy and look forward to after a day of hard work. Curling up in a comfortable bed and sleeping is a daily ritual. Everyone needs quality sleep too, not only because it is amazing, but also it is beneficial for our overall physical and emotional health. So when we cannot fall asleep easily, or we are waking at night, or simply waking early without getting enough sleep, these patterns over time will influence our wellbeing.
Many of you who’ve been in to our clinic know I will always ask you about your sleep, whether you are having trouble in any of the abovementioned categories. In Chinese medicine, we look for the root cause of our health issues and often times there is a simple solution. Our example here is sleep: Why are you not sleeping well? Stress, overthinking, working long hours, digestion, exercise routine or lack thereof, diet, and so on, are the first places to look for the disharmony and can often be remedied in a short period of time.
